Lujiazui World Trade Center
The Retail District serves as social mixer and topography of circulation spaces and roof gardens
Lujiazui World Trade Center proposes three distinct centers of development creating a complete mixed-use development.
The Retail District serves as social mixer and topography of circulation spaces and roof gardens. Solid and voids converge and diverge to create a wide variety of public spaces and retail tenants. Program elements combine retail and restaurant spaces with cultural functions and a boutique hotel for a vibrant retail and entertainment experience.
The Ground level pedestrian flow encourages connections between the circulation spine and Fangdian Road, whereas upper-level connections are made between restaurants, cinemas, a cultural center, and a boutique hotel.
