Millennium Arena

Located on the northwest side of Cairo this 120 meters long, 75 meters wide
arena proposal to serve as a venue for both national and international sporting events.

The main hall of the Sports Arena seats approximately 5,000 spectators and was a part of the Olympic Village proposal for Egypt celebrating new the millennium.

located in the entrance halls the exposed concrete stairs. These lead from the foyer directly up to the spectator stands on the inside of the arena. The rows of spectator seats, and a 24 x 44-meter basketball or handball court. The playing area can be divided into two smaller basketball or volleyball courts with expandable bleachers. The secondary rooms such as the changing rooms are located in the ground levels beneath the stands.
